The long-awaited season of the year, summer has come – the time for vacations, rejuvenation and enjoyment. Hence, it commenced at the National Defence University with the most important holiday of childhood – International Children’s Day.
More than hundred children gathered at the sports campus of the university. Throughout the festive event, the children played, danced in a synchronised performance of a flash mob.
The event had a lot of sports competitions, where children not only ran and jumped, but also showed ingenuity, dexterity, and team work.
The icing on the cake was the competition “Dance with body parts” which was immensely enjoyed by the children and made the day memorable for them. Three teams led by fairy-tale heroes competed with each other in dancing with separate body parts.
At the culmination of the festive event, each child was given a small surprise – a treat. It was their favorite ice cream with cartoon stickers on the wrapper.
