On July 22, 2016, by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 427 ‘On some issues of the National Defence University named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation’, the Department of Support of Service and Combat Activities of the National Guard was established.

The Department of Service and Combat Activities of the National Guard is designed to train qualified personnel of the operational-tactical level in the specialty of the magistracy: ‘Management in the National Guard’ in three qualifications: ‘Management of the technical support of the National Guard’, ‘Management of the Logistics of the National Guard.’

 

The following disciplines are taught at the department:

  1. Moral and psychological support of service and combat activities of the National Guard;
  2. Management of the educational and ideological work of the National Guard.
  3. Technical support of service and combat activities of the National Guard;
  4. Management of technical support in the daily activities of the National Guard;
  5. Management of the operation of weapons and military equipment of the National Guard;
  6. Logistics.
  7. Logistic support of service and combat activities of the National Guard;
  8. Logistics management of service and combat activities of the National Guard.
  9. Engineering and technical support of service and combat activities of the National Guard;
  10. Engineering protection in emergency situations.
  11. Provision of rescue operations.
  12. Radiation, chemical, and bacteriological protection in emergency situations.
  13. Methodology of dissertation research.
  14. A single complex task.
