On July 22, 2016, by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 427 “On some issues of the National Defense University named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation”, the Department of Service and Combat Activities of the National Guard was established.
The Department of Service and Combat Activities of the National Guard is designed to train qualified personnel of the operational and tactical level in the specialty of the magistracy: “Management in the National Guard” in three qualifications: “Management of technical support of the National Guard”, “Logistics management of the National Guard”, “Organization of educational and ideological work of the National Guard”.

Activities of the department:
The Department of Service and Combat Activities of the National Guard is the graduating department of the Faculty of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The department, in cooperation with other departments of the Faculty and the University, trains qualified officers of the operational and tactical level for the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the specialty of the master’s degree “Management in the National Guard” qualifications: “Management of educational and ideological work of the National Guard”, “Management of technical support of the National Guard” “Management of logistics of the National Guard”.
