On 4th May, 2023, within the framework of the Cooperation Plan between the Ministries of Defence of Kazakhstan and Italy, a delegation of the Institute of Higher Defence Research and Analysis of the Armed Forces of the Italian Republic visited the National Defence University Republic of Kazakhstan.
Colonel Gualtiero Iacono, director of the Institute of Higher Defence Research and Analysis of the Armed Forces of the Italian Republic, gave a briefing on the “ Institute of Higher Defence Research and Analysis” for the information of Kazakhstani colleagues.
The military attache of Italy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel Gianluca Carriero, gave a lecture for the faculty and the undergraduates on: “Analysis and conclusions of the operations in Afghanistan and forecasts of the situation in the Central Asian region.”
During the visit, the guests were acquainted with the educational-material and scientific-experimental bases of the university.
