On 4th May, 2023, the National Defence University hosted the opening of the visiting excursion project and exhibition “Warriors of the Great Steppe” organized by the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.
The event was organized within the framework of a memorandum on cooperation.
The exposition presented historical and cultural artefacts reflecting the heroic deeds of warriors from different periods, the history of Kazakhstan, starting with the Batyrs who defended their land from the enemy raids of the Dzhungars, the exploits of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, as well as material on the formation and development of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
