On 25th November, 2022, a scientific conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General of Aviation Talgat Begeldinov was held at the National Defence University named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy.
The conference was attended by the teaching staff, researchers and undergraduates of the university, as well as cadets of the Military Institute of the North-Eastern Military District, Talgat Begeldinov and lancers of the Military College named after. S. Nurmagambetova.
In their reports, the conference participants highlighted the path of life and military exploits of the twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General of Aviation Talgat Begeldinov; archival documents were presented; continuity of generations was reflected; and the formation of Kazakhstani patriotism as an example of the selfless performance of military duty by the valiant sons of the Kazakh people was highlighted.
